In this video, Chuck Carnevale, Co-Founder of FAST Graphs, a.k.a. Mr. Valuation will uncover value in the Consumer Staples Sector.
If you look at the overall stock market, the markets are very extended right now. But as Chuck has always pointed out, it’s a market of stocks, not a stock market. If you are willing to look, you can always find stocks that have attractive valuations no matter how overvalued the stock market is.
Chuck is going to look at the valuation of the market as a whole to start, then he will go into the Consumer Staples Sector. He is going to screen for value.
Chuck will go over the screen with you, and then go over the stocks that met his screening criteria. In this screen he came up with 10 stocks that have P/E ratios that are under 15, with the exception of Target, and all stocks that have an earnings yield above 6%. Remember, these are RESEARCH CANDIDATES, this does not mean this screen created a list of stocks you want to buy, it’s a list of stocks that would be worthy of your time to research and decide if you want to buy.
In this video Chuck will cover SPDR S&P 500 ETF Trust (SPY), Nomad Foods (NOMD), Target (TGT), Campbell Soup (CPB), Molson Coors Beverage (TAP), Altria Group (MO), Kroger Co (KR), General Mills (GIS), Empire Co (EMP.A:CA), iShares Russell 3000 ETF (IWV)
Disclosure: Long TGT, MO, KR, GIS
