First and foremost, our hearts go out to the people of Ukraine. In recent days, we have all watched how families and entire communities have gone from peaceful living to fighting for their lives. While we may be an ocean away, our hearts ache for a tragedy that feels close to home.
As a team, our Advisor Perspectives family has donated to a Ukrainian charity dedicated to protecting and relocating orphans and displaced or abused children. This donation was made in honor of our friend, Vitaliy Katsenelson, who has bravely shared his thoughts on the war with our community of advisors. I encourage you to read through his series if you haven’t yet.
While we’ve shared much about the economic implications of Russia’s actions over the past several days, it’s imperative that we all take time to remember that this is an attack on innocent people. If you have it in your heart to send a contribution to those in Ukraine, Vitaliy has vetted and shared a list of charitable organizations to choose from.
Our thoughts are continually with the people of Ukraine as we watch these events unfold with heavy hearts.
