Soul in the Game is three weeks old and has made an unexpected turn – it is becoming popular with my readers’ wives. Let me explain. I have not done the survey, but I suspect my readership is predominantly (90%) male. I’ve started hearing from readers a story that goes like this: A husband buys Soul in the Game for himself. Starts reading it and discussing it with his wife. The wife starts reading it, too. Then the book turns into something the couple reads together. Judging by emails I receive, comments on Twitter, and Amazon reviews, the book is making a difference in readers’ lives and thus making the world a tiny bit better. That is all I can ask for.
