Advisor Perspectives Named Most Read E-Newsletter for Financial Advisors for Fourth Consecutive Year By Erdos & Morgan

LOS ANGELES, October 24, 2022 – Advisor Perspectives, a premier digital publisher for the financial advisory profession, now part of the VettaFi family, announced it has been ranked as the most-read electronic newsletter among financial advisors for the fourth year in a row by Erdos & Morgan’s Financial Advisor Media Outlook and Usage Study (FAMOUS).

Since 2013, the Financial Advisor Media Outlook and Usage Study has supplied deep insights into how professional financial advisors view fund families and use media. In addition to media consumption, the study also provides a multifaceted profile of financial advisors that goes beyond basic demographic information including variables such as AUM, work setting, and the role of the advisor in the client relationship.

This is Advisor Perspectives' fourth consecutive year of ranking ahead of The Wall Street Journal and Bloomberg among the e-newsletters listed, with 14% more readership across the 1,120 financial advisors surveyed. Advisor Perspectives also claimed the number one spot for e-newsletters among the independent registered investment advisor (RIA) segment.

“We are thrilled to be recognized as the number one e-newsletter for financial advisors for the fourth year in a row,” said Robert Huebscher, founder of Advisor Perspectives. “Our goal has always been to bring the highest quality editorial content to the advisory profession. This data from Erdos & Morgan reaffirms the success that my team and I have achieved in fulfilling our mission of helping financial advisors enable their clients to reach their financial goals.”

Electronic newsletters and podcasts were added to the FAMOUS study a few years ago and have become a critical segment of the media landscape.

“Media consumption is just one essential part of this study,” said David March, the chief revenue officer at Erdos & Morgan. “It also builds profiles of advisors, such as the type of firm they work for, AUM, and investment strategies used. It illustrates the perceptions, recommendations, and usage of specific fund families based on those profiles.”

To introduce this year’s study to the advisor community, Advisor Perspectives and Erdos & Morgan will be hosting a joint webinar to help educate advisors about growing trends in the industry on Wednesday, November 16, 2022, at 12 pm ET / 9 am PT. Those interested in attending can register for free here.

This recognition comes on the heels of the publishing company’s announcement that it was acquired by VettaFi, a data, indexing, digital distribution, and thought leadership company that helps asset managers drive growth and scale. Advisor Perspectives is the latest addition to the VettaFi universe, which was unveiled in May and encompasses the industry-leading efforts of ETF Trends, ETF Database, S-Network Global Indexes, and Alerian.
