Meta Platforms (Facebook): Buy The Dip?

Introduction

Meta Platforms, Inc. (FB) a.k.a. Facebook has experienced a double-digit slump in stock price since August. With this video we will conduct a FAST fundamental analysis of the company by the numbers. Importantly, this is a true growth stock, and as such, needs to be looked at differently than you would a traditional company growing at normal or average rates. Growth stocks are powerful businesses due to the power of compounding. Consequently, growth stocks are valued differently than average companies. Nevertheless, if as an investor you expect to fully participate in the growth of the business, you still must apply the principles of sound valuation. Although valuation is calculated differently for growth stocks, it remains as important for them as it does any other type of stock.

With this video we examine Meta Platforms’ (Facebook) current valuation based on several metrics to include earnings and cash flows. We will also look at the company’s financials further illustrating how strong and powerful this business has been, is and is expected to be in the future.
