Dave Nadig is the Financial Futurist at VettaFi. In this role, Dave explores how the large-scale forces of technology, politics, human behavior, regulation and economics are impacting the future through the lens of retail, advised and institutional investors, helping them make better decisions today to prepare for a probabilistic future. Prior to joining VettaFi, Dave has been CEO of ETF.com, Director of ETF Research at Factset and has held strategy and portfolio roles at Blackrock (nee Barclays Global Investors), MetaMarkets.com and Cerulli Associates. He’s written the CFA’s definitive book on ETFs, “A Comprehensive Guide to Exchange Traded Funds,” and his nightstand is currently dominated by books on neuroscience, human behavior, cognitive science, philosophy, market structure and systems thinking, making him a hit at parties. He spends as much time as possible outside in the New England woods.
